We are preparing an issue of the magazine dedicated to Tove Jansson, Finnish writer and artist who wrote in Swedish. We invite children from 6 to 18 to participate in the contest of illustrations of her books. Works can be done in any technique, but cannot reproduce the drawings of Ms. Jansson. Please send scans of the works (.JPG format, resolution 300 dpi) to the address email@example.com
We also invite kids to compose their own tales (IN RUSSIAN) based on the motifs of Jansson’s tales; Swedish-speaking children may send their original translations of her works into Russian (as an .doc attachment).
In the Subject line please write ContesLastFirst name of the kid. In the text of the letter please indicate the kid’s first and last name in Russian, his/her age, country, city, address, names and contact info for parents and teacher (if available).
By sending a work for the contest and give the right to Malenkaya Kompaniya to publish it in the magazine, on site, FB page and in any promotional material.
The deadline is September 30 , 2015.
We congratulate our students and all kids of NYC with the end of the school year. Students of Malenkaya Kompaniya, enjoy your summer break – but do not forget your Russian! We hope to see you all in September.
